The Quattrocchi issue, which has haunted the Government since the day one of the Budget Session on February 23, is expected to resurface with main Opposition BJP making a renewed demand for Prime Minister Manmohan Singh's resignation.
Government circles are apprehensive that it could be trouble from the word go tomorrow also despite Prime Minister's assertion that it has done "nothing wrong" in the case regarding the controversial Italian businessman, prime accused in the Bofors payoff case.
The opposition NDA, which is upbeat over its success in Uttarakhand and Punjab, is angry over the delay in announcement regarding Quattrocchi's detention in Argentina and his release on bail two days back.
Both Houses of Parliament were adjourned for two successive days over the Quattrocchi issue.
Besides the Quattrocchi issue, the MPs from Karnataka are seeking to raise the Cauvery issue in Parliament in a big way in the wake of the final award by the Cauvery Water Dispute Tribunal, which they feel has given their state a raw deal.
Tamil Nadu MPs have been strongly opposed to the issue being raised in Parliament.
UPA members are also worried over the possible aggressive posture of the 38-member Samajwadi Party, which has recently withdrawn support from the Congress-led coalition.
