Yunus to sign MoU to set up family bank in Bahrain

Dr Muhammad Yunus, country's sole Nobel Laureate and also the founder of Grammen Bank, will sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the government of Bahrain to set up a replicated family bank there.
The signing ceremony will be held on February 6 during Yunus's three-day visit to Bahrain, where he will arrive on February 3 after completing his visit to India, according to Grameen Trust officials here.
Yunus will meet Crown Prince Sheikh Salman Bin Hamad Al Khalifa at a dinner reception on February 5.
He will also meet Amir of Bahrain Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa, Prime Minister Sheikh Khalifa Bin Salman Al Khalifa, Social Development Minister Dr Fatima bint Mohammed Al Balooshi and Foreign Minister Sheikh Khalid Bin Ahmed Bin Mohammed Al Khalifa.
