India's Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president L. K. Advani Tuesday met Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf and had a "free and frank" exchange of views on all bilateral issues, an official said.
"The meeting was held in a free and frank atmosphere and all issues of bilateral interest were discussed," the official told IANS.
When asked if any specific issues were discussed at the meeting, the official said that almost all issues of interest to Pakistan and India were discussed.
The meeting with the president was held in adjacent Rawalpindi.
Advani, who is on a weeklong visit, met Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz in the morning. He will visit Lahore and Karachi before returning home June 6.
