A prominent Indian first-class cricketer playing in a local league in Ireland has been asked by his employer to immediately return home and report for work following a change in the company's management.
Daniel Manohar, a Hyderabad Ranji Trophy player, was playing for Fox Lodge in his fourth season in the North-West Cricket Union (NWCU), the Belfast Telegraph reported Saturday.
Manohar works in the banking industry. His company was not named.
The 31-year-old left hander, who scored 387 runs for Hyderabad in the 2004-05 season, will return after finishing this weekend's fixtures for the Irish club side where he was the only professional on board.
